About Circle Profile Picture Online
What this tool does
Circle profile picture turns any photo into a round avatar. The server crops your image to a square, focusing toward the subject, then masks it into a perfect circle and exports a transparent PNG. The corners outside the circle are see-through, so the avatar sits cleanly on any background.
Options you control
Pick the output size in pixels — anywhere from 32 to 2000 — and the result is a square PNG that many pixels wide and tall. Optionally add a border: set a width from 0 to 40 pixels and a border color as a hex value such as #ffffff. Leave the width at 0 for no border at all.
A transparent PNG
The output is always a PNG with transparency, so only the circle is visible and the corners stay clear. That makes it drop-in ready for avatar slots that expect a round image, and it looks right whether the background behind it is light, dark, or busy.
Where a round avatar works best
Use it for profile pictures on Discord, forums, chat apps, team pages, and websites — anywhere a circular avatar is expected. A matching border helps your avatar stand out against a crowded feed or a colored header.
How to use this tool
How to use
Upload an image from your device — a headshot or any photo where the subject is centered works best.
Set the size in pixels, and optionally add a border width and a hex border color.
Press Run. The server center-crops the photo to a square and masks it into a circle.
Download the circular PNG and use it as your avatar anywhere.
Tips
- Center the subject. Pick a photo where the face or subject sits near the middle so the square crop keeps it in view.
- Go larger for print or retina. A bigger output size stays sharp on high-density screens and when scaled down.
- Add a border to stand out. A light or contrasting border helps the round avatar pop on busy or same-colored backgrounds.
