About Convert PDF To Office Word Online
This tool converts PDF documents to editable Office formats including Word (DOCX) and Excel (XLSX). The conversion extracts text, tables, and basic layout so you can continue editing the content without retyping it.
PDF to Office conversion is most accurate for PDFs that were originally created from Office files. Scanned PDFs may produce less accurate results unless the original document has been run through OCR first.
The converted file is returned for download and is not stored on the server beyond the duration of the request.

How to convert a PDF to Word (.docx)
Upload the PDF
Drop the .pdf into the "PDF file" field. The form also accepts a URL or pasted base64 in the other tabs.
What gets extracted
pdf-parse reads the text layer of the PDF; pdfjs is used under the hood. There's no OCR — image-only / scanned PDFs return no text, just a short notice.
Press Run
Output is a .docx file (filename converted-from-pdf.docx) built with docx from the extracted plain text. The note tells you how many pages were processed and whether text was found.
Set realistic expectations
Only TEXT survives — original layout, tables, fonts, columns, headers/footers, images, and form fields do NOT come over. Use a commercial converter (or rebuild the document in Word) when fidelity matters.
