About Paste & Share Text Online

What this tool does

Paste & share text stores your input in our database and returns a public read-only link. Recipients do not run the form again—they open the URL in a browser and see the same text you submitted.

How the link works

After a successful run, copy the share link from the result card. English URLs look like /paste-share-text/p/…/; other locales may add a language prefix (for example /fa/paste-share-text/p/…/). The id in the path is hard to guess, but anyone with the full URL can read the paste—treat it like an unlisted-but-public page.

Retention

Pastes stop working after about ninety days. The viewer page then explains that the paste is missing or expired. Database backups may retain data for a limited time according to our hosting practices.

We may record the submitting client IP to mitigate abuse; we do not sell that data.

What not to paste

Do not use this for passwords, banking or government secrets, tightly regulated health information, or unlawful material. If you shared something sensitive by mistake, revoke access by stopping distribution of the link and contact us through the site if you need help.

How to use this tool

How to use

  1. Paste your text into the main field. Code, logs, drafts, and long notes are fine within the character limit.

  2. Press Run. The server validates the body, creates one stored paste, and returns an id.

  3. Copy the share link from the result area and send it by email, chat, ticket, or social post.

  4. Recipients open the link in any modern browser. They get a read-only view and can copy the text locally if they need their own file.

Tips

  • Each run is a new id. To “update” shared text, paste again and send a fresh link.
  • Plan for expiry. If you need a permanent archive, save a copy outside Toolsina before the ninety-day window ends.
