About My Ip Info Online

This tool shows you your current public IP address — the address by which servers and other internet endpoints identify you. It also displays geolocation info, ISP name, and connection details (mobile, residential, business, VPN/proxy if detectable).

Knowing your IP is useful for setting up firewall rules, configuring remote access, verifying whether your VPN is actually masking your real IP, or troubleshooting why a service is blocking you (geo-restriction, rate limit, IP-based ban).

Your IP changes when you reconnect on most home networks, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or connect via VPN. Treat your IP as semi-public — it can identify your rough location but not your name or account.

How to use this tool

How to see your own IP address and geolocation

  1. No input needed

This tool takes no form fields. Just open the page or press Run — your browser's connection to our server is enough.

  2. How the IP is detected

We read the IP from the forwarding headers our edge sets when your request arrives. If you're behind a corporate proxy or VPN, that intermediary's IP shows up, not your laptop's LAN address.

  3. Press Run

Result returns geolocation (country, region, city, lat/long, timezone) for the detected IP, plus your client_user_agent string. lookup_scope is fixed to "This page — your connection to our server".

  4. Edge cases

If our server can't see a usable IP (missing forwarding header), you'll get an error with no geo. If geolocation lookup fails for a valid IP, the IP is returned with reason explaining why.
