How to generate an Instagram bio
Describe yourself or your niche
Type a short description in the "You / your niche" field — for example, "travel blogger who photographs hidden gems in Europe" or "fitness coach specialising in busy mums". Include what you do and who you serve.
Generate
Press the Generate button. The tool writes a concise Instagram bio in 150 characters or fewer — the platform's limit — including your value proposition, a personality hook, and optionally a call-to-action line.
Personalise the output
Read the generated bio. Swap in your actual emoji preferences, add a specific location or link call-out ("link in bio"), and adjust the tone if it feels too formal or too casual for your profile.
Copy and update your profile
Click Copy, then paste it into the Instagram bio field under Edit Profile. Instagram counts each character including emojis and line breaks — if the bio is too long, trim the least important line.
